syneHQ

A practical starting point

Prove one workflow.
Then decide what comes next.

Bring a recurring question and the people who know the data. Use the evaluation to establish whether SyneHQ helps your team reach a correct, reusable answer with less back-and-forth.

The booking page lets you choose a time. Share the workflow in plain language; no credentials or sensitive records are needed to scope the conversation.

The evaluation

Agree on the test before the tool.

  1. 01

Choose a question people already ask

Pick one workflow: overdue orders, weekly revenue, inventory exceptions, or cost variance. Write down who needs the answer and what they do with it.

  2. 02

    Set the data boundary

Have the data owner confirm the supported connector, the required tables, and appropriate permissions. Start with a sample or limited read-only source where suitable.

  3. 03

    Check the answer together

Compare results with a known query or report. Inspect joins, definitions, missing records, and date ranges. Have the business owner confirm that the answer is useful.

  4. 04

    Repeat, measure, and decide

Run the next occurrence of the same question. Record time to a checked answer, corrections needed, and engineering handoffs. Decide whether to expand based on that evidence.

Bring both perspectives

Useful for the team.
Reviewable by the data owner.

Business owner

Bring the question, the current process, the expected answer, and the decision it supports. Choose a measure of improvement before starting. A faster answer is only useful if it is correct.

Developer or data owner

Confirm connectivity, permissions, query behavior, and metric definitions. Review how work is saved and shared, where data is processed, and which actions require human approval.

Check the fit early

Make the constraints part of the decision.

A good starting point

  • Your team repeatedly asks questions of a supported database or warehouse.
  • Someone owns the data definitions and can validate the answer.
  • You want to keep SQL, results, and written context together.

Discuss before connecting data

  • The complete SyneHQ workspace is not currently available for self-hosting.
  • SOC 2 readiness and privacy review are in progress; this is not a certification claim.
  • Confirm retention, residency, and contractual requirements with us. Do not assume regulated workloads are covered.
  • Approval covers configured consequential agent actions. It is not a blanket gate on manual notebook activity.

Start with the question you already have.

Use a working session to discuss fit, the data boundary, and a success criterion. If you already know your setup, open the workspace to get started.
