Data operations for engineering teams

Less routine data work.
More control over each run.

Move databases, schedule backups, build pipelines, and send recurring query results to your team. Manage the source, destination, and run history in one place.

Migrations, recovery, pipelines, and recurring data work.

Data Watchers’ dedicated Slack notifications are upcoming. HTTP webhooks and configured Workflow delivery are available.

Why Data Tools

The tools behind a dependable data operation.

01

Move and recover data.

Plan PostgreSQL transfers, schedule backups, and create restore jobs with the target in view.

Migrations + backups + restores

02

Build a repeatable pipeline.

Query a source, transform it with Python, and send the output to a database or HTTP destination.

Flowr pipelines

03

Keep the team informed.

Watch for data changes or schedule queries with delivery to configured team channels.

Data Watchers + scheduled Workflows

Choose the job your team needs done

Move or recover a database

Use PG Migration for PostgreSQL server transfers. Schedule backups or restores with the source, storage, and target in view. Restores can replace target data; a successful backup still needs a tested restore procedure.

Transform and deliver data

Build a Flowr pipeline from a source query through a Python transformation to a database or HTTP destination. Run it once or on a schedule, then inspect the execution record.

Watch a change or send a report

Use Data Watchers for table changes or polling a query, with HTTP webhook delivery. Use Workflows for scheduled queries and configured Slack, email, or Discord delivery.

Use the storage your team already owns

Connect Amazon S3 or an S3-compatible bucket, including Cloudflare R2 and Google Cloud Storage through its compatible endpoint. Reuse that destination in supported exports and backups, with access and lifecycle settings controlled by your provider.

Connect a storage bucket or read the storage setup guides.

Before you get started

A few useful answers.

Talk through your use case
Which tool should I start with?

Use PG Migration for a PostgreSQL server move; Backup and Restore for recovery jobs; Flowr for query-to-destination pipelines; Data Watchers for change notifications; and Workflows for scheduled queries and result delivery.

Can I use my own storage?

Yes. Connect Amazon S3 or an S3-compatible bucket, including Cloudflare R2 and Google Cloud Storage through its compatible endpoint with HMAC credentials. Your provider’s access and lifecycle settings govern the bucket.

Can results reach Slack?

Scheduled Workflows support configured Slack, email, or Discord delivery. Data Watchers currently support HTTP webhooks; their dedicated Slack notifications are upcoming and not yet deployed.

Does a completed backup guarantee recovery?

No. Test restores for your own systems. Migrations and restores can replace data at the destination; confirm the target and options before running them. The workspace does not promise point-in-time recovery or recovery-time guarantees.

Turn recurring data work into a repeatable process.

Choose the operation, connect its source and destination, and keep every run in view.
